2. Collection and processing of non-personal data

(1) We do not collect personal data when you simply visit the online store. However, each server automatically stores access to websites. To meet their contractual obligations and for system security purposes, our web server will temporarily record the IP address of the requesting computer, the browser you are using, the operating system used, the access date and time, the websites you visit, the Uniform Resource Locators (URL) and the previously visited site (referrer URL) requested on our websites. This information is stored anonymously. It is not possible to trace this back to you or your individual behaviour.

5. Newsletter

In order to register for our e-mail newsletter service, in addition your consent under data protection law, we required at least your e-mail address to which to send the newsletter. Any further information is voluntary and will be used to contact you directly, personalise the contents of the newsletter and clarify questions concerning your e-mail address.

We usually use what is known as the double opt-in method to send the newsletter, i.e. we will only send the newsletter if you have previously confirmed your request using the link provided in the confirmation e-mail sent to you for this purpose. By doing so, we want to make sure that only you can log in to the newsletter as owner of the e-mail address. Your confirmation must be sent immediately after receipt of the confirmation e-mail, as your newsletter subscription will otherwise be automatically deleted from our database.

7. Confidentiality

(1)  In regard to any information requiring confidential treatment that we receive within the contractual relationship, we will remain silent about it and only use this in connection with third parties - irrespective of the purpose - with prior established agreement of the respective other contractual partner. The information to be treated as confidential includes information expressly designated as confidential by the party providing the information and such information which is clearly confidential considering the circumstances of the transfer. In particular, we shall keep confidential personal data and the used data if we have access to these data.

(2) The obligations under Paragraph 1 do not apply to information or parts thereof when we can prove that it was

 >   known to us before the date of receipt or was generally available;

 >   known to the general public before the date of receipt or was generally available;

 >   known to the public after the date of receipt or became generally available, without us being responsible for this.

(3) Public statements by the parties regarding cooperation shall only be made following prior mutual agreement.
